TEXTBOOK
The textbook that we use is Conceptual Physics by Paul Hewitt, 2002.
This is a fantastic resource and is often overlooked by students who are
looking for a different explanation of the topics we cover.

HOMEWORK IS DUE EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY NIGHT AT 9:00 PM (except on holiday weeks)

Last year, we started using a program called "Mastering Physics" from the publisher of our textbook. It is a way of doing homework online, with immediate right/wrong feedback, and opportunities to fix problems that were incorrect. It is a fantastic resource, and one I hope this year's students will also appreciate.

This year's CLASS ID is CRANSON2016 .
The student access code is SSNAST-FLUFF-FINCH-BOTAN-STASH-CHEWA
(for best results, copy and paste from here)

The students have been shown how to register, but it all begins here!

(Clicking on the word "here" will bring you to the starting page,

TURNITIN

Occasionally, you may be asked to hand in work online. You will use the tool, TURNITIN.COM . You will be given a class id number to register for our class, and then you will be given assignments and deadlines. You can find instructions for the use of Turnitin at that website.
